East Chapel High School

Thanks to The NEED Project, East Chapel Hill High School has a 1.92 kilowatt solar photovoltaic system installed by Honey Electric Solar which includes:
• 16 BP 120 watt PV modules
• One Sunnyboy 1800U Inverter that inverts high voltage DC solar
   power to 120V AC grid power
• One SMA Sunny webbox that enables web monitoring
• Various mechancial/electrical parts like conduit, wire, disconnects,
   and lightening arrestors

The solar panel array, visible from the ground, is installed on the school’s roof. The system’s daily production can be tracked on sunnyportal.com.
